Privacy Notice.

Last updated: 2026 · Harpi, Georgetown, Guyana

01. Who we are.

Harpi is a strategic advisory firm headquartered in Georgetown, Guyana, with a regional presence in Willemstad, Curaçao. This notice explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we hold it and what you can ask us to do with it.

If you have a question about anything here, write to [email protected].

02. What we collect.

One thing, and you do not type it.

Nothing you enter. This site has no contact form, no sign-up, no account and no search box. There is no field anywhere on it through which you could send us information, so we receive none.

Ordinary technical records. Like any website, ours is served by a host that keeps standard access logs, which include IP addresses and browser information. These are kept for a limited period in the ordinary course of running the site. We do not use them to identify individuals.

We use no analytics and no advertising trackers. We do not build profiles of visitors and we do not sell or share personal information for advertising. If we ever add analytics, this notice will say so before we do.

03. Why we hold it.

The access logs exist so that the site can be served and kept working. That is their whole purpose.

Where you write to us by email, telephone or WhatsApp, we hold that correspondence in order to reply and to keep a record of the conversation if it becomes an engagement. We do not add enquiries to a marketing list and we do not send unsolicited mail.

04. Cookies.

This site sets no cookies of its own and there is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

One request does leave your browser: our typeface is loaded from Google Fonts, so Google receives that request when the page loads. It carries no information you have given us.

05. Who else sees it.

Our hosting and email providers process information on our behalf in order to run the site and deliver messages to us. They act on our instructions and for no other purpose and they are not permitted to use what they process for their own ends.

We disclose personal information to no one else, except where the law requires it of us.

06. Where it goes.

Our providers may store or process information outside the territory you are writing from. Where that happens, we require the provider to hold it under protections comparable to those in the territory it came from and we place them under contractual obligations to that effect.

07. How long we keep it.

Enquiries that do not become engagements are kept while the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards and are then deleted. Records connected to an engagement are kept for as long as our professional, tax and legal obligations require and no longer than that.

08. What you can ask of us.

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong and ask us to delete it. You can ask us to stop using it. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Making one of these requests costs you nothing and will not affect how we deal with you.

09. Security.

Nothing is submitted from this site, because there is nothing on it to submit. Correspondence reaches us by email, telephone or WhatsApp.

No ordinary email or message is completely secure, so please do not send confidential or commercially sensitive material in a first approach. If a matter is sensitive, say so and we will arrange a secure channel before you send anything.

10. Children.

This site is intended for professional audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of majority in their territory.

11. Changes.

If we change how the site handles personal information, we will update this notice and change the date at the top. Material changes will be described rather than absorbed quietly.

12. Contact.

Questions, requests and complaints all go to the same place: [email protected]. We would rather hear a complaint directly and put it right. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled it, you are entitled to raise the matter with the data protection authority in your own territory.
